Dr. Helen Beattie, Partner
Dr. Helen Beattie is a specialist in scientific communication, business intelligence, and more recently, in medical writing. She has been working as freelance translator, copy-editor and proof-reader for several international science publishers, research institutes and companies since 1997. Her work includes translation of a number of scientific articles and a textbook, editing of marketing brochures and websites for Life Science companies and writing medical abstracts.

Helen Beattie has taught information retrieval courses at Zeneca, UK, and has worked as a research scientist in the chemical industry in the UK (Dow Corning) and Germany (Rhône Poulenc) for several years. She gained postdoctoral experience at Osaka Governmental Institute, Japan, followed by a Royal Society Research Fellowship at the Dyson Perrins Laboratory, Oxford University.

Helen Beattie received her PhD from the University of Hull, UK, after she has completed her studies in chemistry and German at the University of Sussex, UK, and University of Freiburg, Germany. Her working languages are German and English.
